We arrived at Miyanoura at 10 O’clock. Yamada and his class mate Mr. Nakajiro Furutani worked as fisher man at this offshore in Showa 24th (1949).
I asked at fishermen’s union office trying to find any record of my activity. There was none. This office is branch office. There may be something in main office.
Track driver‘s story. ‘I quit retail shop when super market took our clients. I remember that when I was running shop, many shishermen from Okikmauro of Yamaguch-ken came to my shop.’
The place where the shrine locate was island when I came here for fishing, but now the island is connect to main land by landfill. I and Mr. Nishimura looked for some evidence of Kamuro fishermen somewhere in the shrine.
We couldn’t find any evidence or record of Kamuro fishermen anywhere in the shrine and town of Miyanoura.
When people of Okikamuro in Seto inland sea started to come to Miyanoura where edge of Hirado island sailing thru Genkainada rough wave?
Kiyoshi Nishimura and Shigetoshi Yamada two foolish men are trying to find any foot print of ancestors wishing to make clear records to descendants while I’m active.

I think this money is paid for fishing license fee. At that time, 5 or 6 fishermen worked on one boat so that 150 fishermen sailed out from Okikamuro island just for Imari-gumi fleet.
If you add Bakan-gumi fleet, I believe large number of ancestors and fishermen worked actively.
I can imagine that Okikamuro fishermen was sailing away to Korea and Tsingtao of China not only to Japanese Goto and Tsushima area like playing around own yard using Yobuko port as fishing base?
Next year, when warm spring season come, I will go to Goto island with Mr. Nishimura to find out some records of ancestors.
