For the travel to Kyushu second time, I planned to meet Mr. Nishimura of Ube at Ogori station of Shinkan-sen(bullet train line).
However, Yamada took wrong train and was late for the meeting time. I hurried to out of the staion. At same time, one car stopped at font of me.
Mr. Nishimura said ‘Mr. Yamada, You must be waiting for long time.’
‘What? That is my words. I took wrong train and was late for time. I thought Mr. Nishimura may go back to home because waited too long. I felt relief because your car just arrived in front of me.’
Mr. Nishimura said ‘I’m sorry for late. you must wait. I had to go back to home on the way to this station because I forgot to bring paper for rubbing’
I said to Mr. Nishimura. ‘Yamada was far late for the meeting time because I had take wrong train. However, I saw your car came to me. You must be waiting long time?’ Both had big laugh.
This happening also the sign of that our ancestors took care of our move. This time we forwarded directory to Kabejima of Yobuko.
19th October
At Tajima shrine, we Kiyoshi Nishimura and Shigetoshi Yamada prayed appreciation of god’s blessing.’
This time we climbed up the wind view hill park and we took our memorial photos each other in front of Yobuko big bridge.
I feel there was some relations between Okikamuro island and Yobuko since the age of ‘Genko war (in Gen age of China, huge chinese army tried to attack Japan but Typhoon swapped away Chinese fleet and thousands of ships sank in the ocean)’ which is much older age before Meiji era.
There were many people from Okikamuro living temporarily in Yobuko and one of descendant of those, Osamu Yanagihara who is member of Tokyo kamuro party and linving in Chiba-city went to the school in Yobuko right after returned from Taiwan at end of world war.
We could meet Mr. Yoshio Hirano who is One of the friends of Chief priest of Tajima shrine and Mr. Hideo Okabe who is owner of Okabe fishing tool shop and also Town councilor. we had chance to hear their story.
They talked friendly to us even though we visited them without appointment.
According to their story, there are many descendants of Kamuro people who are town councilor, Education chairman or magnate of town in Yobuko, Karatsu or Imari. The word ‘Kamuro’ appeared many times in their talking.
We could understand this fact easily after reading donators list engraved on the stone lantern. If we could know this fact, we could hear stories from the many descendants getting together.
Eventhough our sudden visiting, Hichibei Kitamura, Toraichi Ishiyama, Yaichi Yanagihara, Kititaro Mukai, (first name unknown) Yanagihara, Toraichi Sumida, Ryuichi Matsubara, Hideyoshi Kitamura joined to this meeting. Especially I heard that Mr. Zenichi Mukai was very skillful to dismantling whale.
Story continued long time at meeting, we had to leave Karatsu and Yobuko. There was big ocean and thousands of islands.
Looking beautiful scenery, we drove thru Chinzei, Genkai, Imari, Matsuura, Tahira, Hirado big bridge to Miyanoura. It was a good driving travel under good weather, good condition road.
