8th July
Morning 8 th July 2000, departed Tokyo Station by Nozomi at 06:55 for Shin-Osaka and arrived at 09:26.
On the subway of Keihan Electric Railway, I unexpectedly encountered Mr. Kiyoshi Nishimura.
“Mr. Yamada, where are you heading for?”
“I am going to Kansai Kamuro-kai. How about you, Mr. Nishimura?”
“I am also going to Kamuro-kai.”
“Really? Then, let’s go together.”
We participated in Kansai-Kamuro-kai together.
In a big city, it is difficult to meet each other even when appointed to meet when and where. This was not a mere coincidence but was a miracle prepared by the ancestors.
Afterward, came across with various experiences one after another, which were certainly arranged by the ancestors.
9th July
Yamada, on 9th July, visited Okikamuro to fetch a tool set of rubbing prints, and forwarded to Ube.
10th July
10th July was rainy. At Mr. Nishimura’s in Ube, spoke about Kamuro’s old stories until late at night.
We made up mind to start from Ube in order to trace back the remainders of activities by the ancestors/seniors which are left in the places in Kyushu.
Though the location of remainders is quite uncertain, try to find them with flexible approaches.
11th July
11th July sunny day. Challenged once again to make a rubbing print of “Amount one hundred Yen Oshima-Gun Okikamuro Seki Hassou-Gumi” engraved in Tamagaki stone fence monument located at Konpira-Gu Fuouji Temple in Shimonoseki. Last time, could not make a rubbing print because of rainfall.
While waiting for the print dry up, a shout “Here is another Kamuro” was heard. When looked back, Mr. Nishimura suddenly pointed and said loudly “There, you see.”
We could confirm clearly the letters of “Amount fifty Yen Oshima-Gun Okikamuro Yamamoto Kanegoro”. Thus newly discovered Tamagaki donated by the Kamuro ancestors.
Both of us convinced that the ancestors lead us to the discovery and would be able to trail the remainders more in the future.
