Dear Kamuro People,
How are you, everyone? It is very cold this winter.
Although it rarely snows, I have never experienced such a cold weather in Kyoto City.
I have recently known that names of Oshima People listed on the Bocho (Yamaguchi) Who’s Who in Meiji 34th were opened to the public on the web.

I found the name of my great grandfather Isuke Tomozawa in the list. He was recorded as “Isuke Tomozawa, Agenosho, Vice President of Oshima Fishermen’s Cooperative. It means that he lived in Agenosho and was engaged in fishery just before he moved from Okikamuro to Kobe. It was a new finding for me.
Names of several other Okikamuro People were also found in the list. You could find names of your ancestors. If you are interested in, please check the website.
