I'm studying history of Gogo island in Ehime prefecture.
Before (2014.10.29) I questioned about‘muhoto’grave stone of‘Ishizaki family’in Okikamuro island. (There is possibility that the‘muhoto’grave stone is for Ishizaki Shirosaburo who was lord of Akesawa castle in Gogo island.)
Well now, I like to explain my opinion about ‘Ishizaki Family, the origin of Okikamuro Tomozawa Family’(2019.09.15) by Masato Katsuyama.
1. Mr.Katsuyama does not think the story about ‘Ishizaki people were descendants of Nakamura Family who were lord in Tohoku area’
I agree that. I have studied about Emperor Godaigo, Masashige Kusunoki, Chyuko of Kenmu, Yoshino57years and Muromachi era in Mr. Sumi Hiraizumi’s book ‘Story about Japan history’. I couldn’t find name ‘Nakamura Danjo Tadamichihi(nitsu)’ in that book.
2. There is less possibility that Ishizaki Shirosaburo niso was lord of Akesawa castle in Gogo island.
I have following facts about this decision.
According to Book ‘Iyo Onkoroku’ published at 1894 Edited by Michimori Miyawaki previous Iyo Niiyama clan
…(Wake Akesawa castle)/ located at Honura in Gogo island, one of 18 generals of Kono family Murakami Bichunokami Yoshimitsu‘s member Murakami Shinanonokami Hiromasa owned. Later Ishizaki Shirosaburo owned’
…(Itsukushima Shrine) / Lord of Toshima Akesawa castle Ishizaki Shirosaburo donated at Sept. 15, 1580.
3. Ishizaki family of Okikamuro island or Gogo island was not the clan of Kono family. They were one member family of Murakami pirate group.
I agree this opinion. In the book ‘Kono Bungen Roku’ , Lord of the Gogo island is ‘Murakami Shinanonokami Masahiro’. There is no ‘Ishizaki Shirosaburo’ name in member of Kono family.Attached map ‘Murakami three families castles(Innoshima, Noshima, Kurushima)’ is the material from history book of Ehime prefecture’s middle ages ‘Iyo’s Castle map’. Gogo island is marked by black box and part of ‘Innoshima Murakami’ family.
Ishizaki Shirosaburo became lord of the Gogo castle after Murakami Shinanonokami Hiromasa. Time line history should be following according to old books and Ishizaki documents and other materials. I think that he owned Gogo castle between 1576 or 1580 thru 1585.
1569 lord of Akesawa castle Murakami Shinanonokami Hiromasa build ‘Hiromasa temple’ (new edition of Onsengun book)
1570-73 Funakoshi Yoiu old castle where Murakami Shinanonokami (Iyo ancient tomb book)
1575 Murakami Shinanonokami Gogo island lord (Kono bungen book)
1580 Toshima Akesawa castle lord Ishizaki Shirosaburo donated for ‘Itsukushima shrine’ (Iyo Onsen book)
1586 Hideyoshi conqured Shikoku. Castles of Iyo (10 castles) (Kobayakawa Kagetaka letter)
1587 my Son Ishizaki Shirosaemon Yoshitame became Shrine officer assigned by Fukushima Saemon Tayu (Ishizaki book Tenpo record)
1600 after Sekigahara battle, four islands became ‘Matsumae, Kokufu, Kurushima, Kashima’ (Ehime prefecture history book)
1615 rule of ‘one castle in one country’ was published.
