Blue Eyes Saw, Kaminoseki, Okinokamuro

This is Kaminoseki, Okinokamura, seen through blue eyes. It is from the late Edo period. The use of perspective, typical of Westerners, makes it look realistic.

The top picture is Kaminoseki (the island on the right), but I can't see any teahouses or anything. The second row is Okikamuro, but I'm not sure what angle it's from. Could someone local please explain? It's pronounced "okinokamuro" and not "okikamuro," so it's used to mean "offshore townscape" as opposed to "jinokamuro" (townscape on the mainland). Below that are Tomonoura and Abuto. The bottom is Hyogo (Kobe), so they go in order going east along the Seto Inland Sea. It's clear that Hyogo was an outstanding port.

It's hard to see, but this isn't a single shot; it looks like the artist sketched the boat ride and then drew it in a one-shot style later. The right edge appears to say "Saganoseki." To the left of that appears to be "Heigun." The larger island appears to be Okinokamuro, and between it and Jikamuro, "Iyo" can be seen in the distance, so the two islands in front of Okikamuro are likely "Kamininaijima" and "Shimoninaijima." The artist likely began sketching immediately after passing Kaminoseki, and created a single image of the boat gradually approaching Okikamuro. Okikamuro is not in the current city area side, but in the back mountains side.
