Opening remarks by Takashi Saito, President of the Kansai Kamuro Association Thank you to all of our members who came all the way from far away and took time out of their busy schedules to participate in the event. We are going to hold the Kansai Kamuro Association.

Hakuseiji Temple Chief Priest, Shizuo Niyama, Shiraki Village Community Council's plans are being realized one after another. Recently, the Jikamuro Awasango Tunnel will have its opening ceremony by the end of the year and will be open for use early next year. Okikamuro Seaside Campsite has a good reputation and is difficult to book on weekends. The number of repeat visitors is increasing.

Masatomo Yagi, President of Tokyo Kamuro Party: The population of Okikamuro Island has been stable for the past few years, at 88 people. It's a little painful to think back to the time when the population was decreasing significantly every year, but I hope the population will increase, even if it doesn't make a V-shaped recovery.

I heard from a member of the Kansai Kamuro Party that they are planning to hold their final class reunion on Okikamuro Island.

A class reunion on Okikamuro Island will surely be a fun one.
