Hiroshima Kamuro Party Annual meeting May 18,2024 at Hiroshima Garden Place 20 attendance
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the aftermath of the Hiroshima G7, this is the first time in five years that the Hiroshima Kamuro Club has been held. Many members have grown older and are no longer able to participate, so this time there were only 20 participants.
The event was made possible thanks to the efforts of Chairman Yamada Minoru and Secretary General Fujimoto Shigefumi.
This year, in particular, former Chugoku Shimbun reporter Sadao gave a presentation on the story of Nakata Yoshimatsu, who was born in Okikamuro and moved to Hawaii. Nakata Yoshimatsu was an assistant to the famous American novelist Jack London and has been attracting attention as a person who had a great influence on London.
