Hello Mr. Yagi,
How are you? We are fine here in Hawaii.
The Hawaii Okikamurokai met on Saturday, April 29 at Ikoi Hall at Jodo Mission of Hawaii.
Because the Corona virus restrictions have been relaxed, people are traveling and doing other activities. Therefore, the shinnenkai didn't have too many people. But the people who did come seemed to really enjoy seeing each other and talked and talked and talked!
In addition, at the end of March, the Hanami tour group from Hawaii went to Okikamuro and met with Niiyama-sensei at Hakuseiji. Sensei posted photos on Facebook. Moreover, the NHK film crew showed up and interviewed people! Sensei posted when the show will be on TV. However, it sounds like we will not be able to see the show in Hawaii. I hope that somehow, we will get to see it.
I'm attaching a few photos from the shinnenkai.
Aloha,
Marie Otani
