[Kamuro Family Tree]
After returned to Japan, I asked our relations to Helen Ebesu and Sumie Yanagihara by e-mail. As a result, I could finish database registration about Torazo family tree relations using Okikamuro Family Tree (FT) software. Masatomo Yagi(me), Helen Ebesu, Amy Yamashita and Sumie Yanagihara now can be found in ‘find relation’ function output.
Folowing is a sample of relation-find function output.
There was one more thing I wanted to do during Hawaii tour. That was to find at least one member who can install and operate Kamuro family tree (FT) software. Before the tour start, I asked Marie Otani president of Hawaii Kamuro club to use FT software. However, Marie Otani is using Mac PC which is not Windows PC. FT software only works on Windows PC. I had to find other person in Hawaii who use Windows PC and have knowledge to download and install FT software. There are About 10 members in Japan who is using FT software to register family tree data in Kamuro family tree database. Alan Aoki in Hawaii Kamuro club had agreed to try to download and install the FT software. I handed download manual to him during Honolulu Jodo mission dinner meeting.
When we arrived at Kansai airport on returning to Japan, I received a mail form Alan Aoki. He successfully installed FT software and could login FT database. Now we can share Kamuro Family Tree database with Hawaii members and Japan members.
about two months ago, Kaede (Yanagihara) Maeda sent mail to me asking about her ancestor’s family tree information. Fortunately, Kikue (Yanagihara) Ihara got her great grandfather’s Joseki Tohon (govermnet official birth record book) for us. I could inform Kaede’s ancestor birthdate. Kaede Maeda also interested in FT software to join Kamuro Family Tree project. She now successfully operate FT software to register her family tree in Kamuro FT Database. FT project which was started by Shigetoshi Yamada and Kiyoshi Nishimura has now Hawaii member and Japan member. I hope this FT project expands more and so each Kamuro member can find unknown relationship with other member.
I’m surprised few days ago again. Marie Otani sent our Hawaii tour pictures in Honolulu for Okikamuro.com. She wrote Helen Ebesu’s mother (Yoshi Nishimura) is cousin of Matsujiro Otani. That means Matsujiro Otani is related to me even though the relation is far. I decide to register this relationship in FT database. I believe that Family Tee database contribute to expand link of human and support members activities.
I will appreciate Kamuro members for the effort to collect information and register data.
